1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, submitting a form, or using the freight, dispatch, and logistics services of Grid Express LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or our services.
2. Services
Grid Express LLC provides interstate and intrastate motor carrier freight transportation and related logistics services, including dry van, power only, full truckload, regional, long haul, dedicated, and expedited shipping. All services are subject to a separate written agreement, rate confirmation, or bill of lading, which shall govern in the event of any conflict with these Terms.
3. Quotes and Rates
Rates quoted through this website, by email, or by phone are estimates based on the information provided and are not binding until confirmed in writing by Grid Express LLC. Rates may change based on actual weight, dimensions, commodity, accessorial requirements, fuel costs, market conditions, and detention or layover time.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete shipment information, including commodity, weight, dimensions, and hazardous material classification.
- Ensure freight is properly packaged, labeled, and ready for pickup at the scheduled time.
- Provide safe and lawful access to pickup and delivery locations.
- Notify Grid Express LLC promptly of any change to shipment details or appointment times.
5. Liability and Cargo Claims
Grid Express LLC maintains cargo and liability insurance in accordance with FMCSA requirements. Liability for loss or damage to cargo is governed by the Carmack Amendment (49 U.S.C. § 14706) and by the terms of the applicable bill of lading and rate confirmation. Claims must be submitted in writing within the timeframes required by law. Grid Express LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, arising from delay or non-delivery.
6. SMS & Mobile Messaging Terms
- Program Description: Grid Express LLC sends operational and transactional SMS messages, including load updates, status confirmations, tracking alerts, and dispatch instructions.
- Consent: You must affirmatively opt in by checking the consent box on our forms. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving any service.
- Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on active shipment activity, load dispatching, and operational communications.
- Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.
- Opt-Out: Reply STOP or CANCEL to any message to stop receiving SMS communications at any time.
- Help: Reply HELP for assistance, or email dispatch@gridexpress.us.
- Carriers: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Employment and Owner Operator Applications
Submission of a driver or owner operator application does not create an offer of employment, a contract, or a lease agreement. All applicants are subject to verification of licensing, driving record, DOT medical certification, drug and alcohol screening, and background review as required by FMCSA regulations.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including the Grid Express name, logo, text, graphics, and design, is the property of Grid Express LLC and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
9. Website Use
You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, to submit false or fraudulent information, to interfere with its operation, or to attempt unauthorized access to any portion of it or its underlying systems.
10. Third-Party Links

11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, unless the parties agree in writing to arbitration.
